The reverse of the first coin depicts a wonderful image of a Phoenix, the queen of all birds and the embodiment of beauty, luck and prosperity. The second reverse of the coin depicts a stunning image of a Dragon, that has long been perceived as a symbol of royalty, life and power. When matched together, the Dragon and Phoenix symbolise absolute love, harmony and togetherness, bringing conjugal happiness and marital bliss to lovers and couples. To reflect the perfect pairing of the Dragon and Phoenix, this piece is a combination of two individual pieces that shine on their own yet merges together seamlessly to complete an elevated work of art. The individual, teardrop-shaped pieces of the Dragon and Phoenix are cut with extreme precision and accuracy in accordance to their Yang and Yin symbols, and the swirls flush together smoothly to form a single, unified circle - truly befitting to its meaning of an eternal bond. Each of the 2 fine-Silver coins is struck in a new minting technique called “Bi-Metal Reverse”, which combines 2 Oz of Silver as the base layer together with a top layer of 5.75 Oz of Copper. This results in a super ultra-high relief that is matched with an antiqued silver finishing after. The obverse of all coins, depicts the Coat of Arms of Chad and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD” – the issuing country, “10000 FRANCS CFA” – the face value and “2021” – the year of issue.
