Product Description
The Baltimore oriole, with its cheerful song and vibrant orange plumage, is a striking bird found in southern Canada during spring and summer. It favors perching high in trees within open woodlands or along waterways. This selectively colored coin showcases the male oriole's bold colors contrasted against the delicate hues of a flowering dogwood.
This is the fifth coin in a series of 99.99% pure silver coins featuring colorful birds, with a limited mintage of 7,500. The reverse design, by Canadian artist Tony Bianco, depicts a springtime scene in rural southern Canada, with the oriole amidst dogwood blossoms. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
