The reverse of the coin features the amazing Egg made from the Russian tycoon Alexander Kelch for his wife Barbara. The original masterpiece was made of Gold, Silver, Rosette Cut Diamonds, Brilliants and Royal Blue Enamel. The egg contained a surprirse, an Indian Elephant, depicted at the bottom of the reverse. At the top of the reverse, the inscription: “Imperial Fabergé Eggs” – the name of the series. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by an intricate design and the inscriptions: “NIUE ISLAND” – the issuing country, “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “1 DOLLAR” – the face value, “2021” – the year of issue and “Ag 999” – the fineness of the Silver.
